About an hour and a half drive away is the alpine ski area of Turner Ski Resort,  located in northwest Montana, 22 miles north of Libby, Montana. The mountain is known for its outstanding fall-line powder skiing.

A two hours drive away, located in the heart of the spectacular northern Rocky Mountains, Whitefish (population about 7,500) is home to the world-class Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort and is the gateway to Glacier National Park.

Kalispell, Montana
